For individuals who have already completed Operative, Supervisor, or Manager levels whose work functions now include screening by X-Ray

Module 11 – Threat Image Projection (TIP)
Course Aims and Objectives:
- To ensure trainees are able to operate x-ray equipment to a standard which allows them to detect prohibited articles reliably.
- To ensure that trainees know the concept of threat image projection and are proficient in its use.
Module Descriptions:
Module 10 – Screening Using X-Ray Equipment
This module imparts comprehensive training on operating X-ray equipment for screening airport supplies. Trainees learn to interpret X-ray images accurately, identify prohibited articles, and adhere to security protocols effectively. Mastery of these skills ensures reliable detection of threats, bolstering airport security and operational safety.
Module 11 – Threat Image Projection (TIP)
This module introduces trainees to the concept of Threat Image Projection (TIP) and hones their proficiency in its application. Through simulations and practical exercises, participants learn to recognize and respond to potential threats effectively, enhancing their ability to maintain airport security standards and mitigate risks
